King Cape

This is our first time ever making something like this.  It took a long time to make. The tutorial I found used a pre-made kid cape and just added the feather boas and clasp. Here's the link in case that's what you want to do- Royal Cape for a Super King by Everfan. However we just watched the video for ideas and did our own thing with the materials we had.

Materials needed are fabric, feathered (or fur) boas, sew on clasp, scissors, thread, and needle.

Our model, Alex is over six feet tall. I bought 2 yards of fabric and held it up to him to see how long it needed to be then cut off the excess. Then Sabrina and I took turns hand-sewing the three feathered boas to the rectangle that was left. Alex told me where to add the clasp.

This is the stitch we used.
