Caramel apples. They are good. Unless it's a prop, then it looks good. These Caramel Apple props were in three plays. Yep, three. All made by a 11 year old. I am that 11 year old. Well, I'm 12 now, but still I can teach you, how to make caramel apples I mean.
What you need is fake apples, light brown paint or dark brown and white paint, paint brush, Mod Podge, bird seed and wood sticks. Plastic bags optional.
So mix your paint or if you have the perfect paint apply paint to fake apple. Add two more coats. Wait for it to dry. Now add a thick layer of glue, and smother, the apple in bird seed. Pull out the stem and put in the wooden stick and glue it in. Add coats of glue until not one seed will fall off. Here is a link to a tutorial from One Simple Country Girl; Faux Caramel Apples.
I guessed the wrong one 😉
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. Mom and I did a survey, and out of four people, only one person got it right.
